André Diegmann joined the Department of Structural Change and Productivity at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) as a postdoctoral researcher in January 2020. Prior to his appointment at IWH, he held positions as a researcher at ZEW, IAB and the Germany Council of Economic Experts. From 2006 to 2012, he studied economics at the University of Kassel, the Dublin Business School (EBS), and Rutgers University. He completed his doctoral dissertation at the University of Mannheim in October 2017.
André Diegmann has been a Junior Research Associate at ZEW since June 2020. His current research interests lie in the fields of empirical labour and public economics, firm dynamism, and economics of crime.
