Productivity Drivers and Policies in Germany

Productivity Drivers and Policies in Germany

The project examines policy measures aimed at promoting productivity growth in Germany. Building on the analytical framework developed by Van Ark et al. (2023), it applies an existing typology of pro-productivity policies to the German context. Germany’s distinctive institutional and economic structures make it a particularly compelling case for in-depth analysis. The objective is to generate evidence-based insights into the effectiveness of different policy approaches to enhancing productivity.
