The project will conduct a fundamental analysis of the existing procurement regime and auction design for the balancing market and formulate regulatory recommendations that are viable, practical for the market, and beneficial to the system, enabling the Swiss balancing market to be structured in a way that is robust, competitive, and cost-efficient in the long term. Our project partners are Neon Neue Energieökonomik and Takon GmbH.
