Boris Ivanov joined ZEW’s Research Department “Labour Markets and Human Resources” in January 2017, where he works in the “Integration into Labour Markets” research area. His research interests lie in the fields of applied microeconometrics and empirical labour market research. In his doctoral thesis, he focuses particularly on the social and economic integration of potentially disadvantaged groups, such as the long-term unemployed and those affected by mass job cuts. Boris Ivanov studied business administration at RWTH Aachen University and earned his master’s degree in economics at Heidelberg University.
