Paul Beaudry, PhD, and Franck Portier, PhD, Visiting Researcher at ZEW Within the SEEK Research Programme

From 23 to 28 May 2011 Paul Beaudry and Franck Portier were visiting researchers at the ZEW research group "Growth and Business Cycles". During their stay, they were working on a joint research project under the SEEK Research Programme entitled "Anticipated Technology Shocks in the European Economies". Paul Beaudry is professor of economics and holds the Canada Research Chair in Macroeconomics at the University of British Columbia. His areas of research cover macroeconomics, technical change, labour economics and globalisation. Franck Portier is professor of economics at the Toulouse School of Economics at the University Toulouse I. His research interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, growth and international economics, energy, environment and agriculture.
