In addition to 'core indicators' on innovation activities, the German innovation survey also collects data on a number of other indicators covering various dimensions of how firms organise and focus their innovation activities. The tables below contain indicators for which data has been collected more than once since 2006. Each table reports the results for all years for which data has been collected. The exact questions used in each of the survey years are presented in the introductory part of each table.
Indicators that have been collected only once are reported as part of the Appendix tables to the documentation of each survey year
Note that the indicator values presented in the tables are based on national reporting standards for innovation statistics and deviate from the European innovation statistics published by Eurostat since national innovation statistics include firms with 5 to 9 employees and a number of services sectors outside the core services sectors of European innovation statistics.
