Labour Markets and Social Insurance
Oliver Schlenker joined ZEW’s Research Unit “Labour Markets and Social Insurance” in May 2021. His research interests lie in the fields of empirical labour economics and applied microeconometrics. In particular, he focuses on the labour market consequences of technological change.
Oliver Schlenker studied economics at the University of Konstanz and the Tor Vergata University of Rome witha focus on public economics and econometrics. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Konstanz under the supervision of Professor Sebastian Findeisen. Moreover, he works as a research fellow at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” in a research project on digitalisation, automation and the future of work in post-industrial welfare states.
