Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics

Mark Roberts is a Professor of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and the Director of the Penn State Census Bureau Research Data Center. He received his PhD in economics in 1980 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests are in the areas of productivity analysis, industrial organization, and international trade. His most recent research has focused on structural modeling of firm entry and exit in oligopolistic markets, entry into export markets, and firm investment in R&D.
