The Centre for European Economic research (ZEW), in co-operation with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), conducts a quarterly survey on Chinese economic development and economic ties between Germany and China. The survey is carried out among experts on China from German industrial enterprises and financial institutions in both China and Germany. The ZEW-PwC China Index is calculated based on the experts’ assessments and expectations.
