Regulating Smart Metering in Europe – CBA for Germany

Regulating Smart Metering in Europe – CBA for Germany

In this project we provide a contribution to the CERRE project “Regulating Smart Metering in Europe: Technical, Economic and Legal Challenges”, where cost-benefit analyses (CBAs) in different countries are being analysed. In particular, we provide an CBA analysis for Germany consisting of a brief description of the alternative scenarios considered in the German CBA. In addition, a critical summary of the main results of the CBA and informations about the assumptions of German CBA are given. Furthermore, we assist CERRE in extracting information on the Dutch CBA.
