The framework contract serves to provide the German Federal Ministry of Labor with scientific expertise required in the political decision making prossess. Short studies and papers are delivered concerning a wide range of topics in the realms of rendering the German welfare state efficient, and of maintaining an adequate supply of labour in particular. The contract covers both empirical and conceptual analyses.
