Evaluation of the German Contribution to Eurostars 1

Eurostars is a multilateral support program for SMEs which is conducted by 34 EUREKA member states together with the European Commission. Eurostars ran from 2008 to 2013 and is continued under the name „Eurostars 2“ since 2014. The program aims at supporting R&D activities by small and medium-sized enterprises in cooperation with international and science-based partners. Eurostars funds projects for civil purposes from all technological areas. Participants are free to propose projects on their own. This evaluation study aims at assessing the impact of the German part of Eurostars on participants‘ performance and competitiveness.
