The aim of the project is to investigate theoretically and empirically the interaction of work incentives with the concern of people for identity and recognition in organizations. Rather than rejecting the standard incentive paradigm, the project intends to enhance it by behavioral assumptions: social recognition appears among the foremost additional sources of organizational behavior, but compared to other forces, for instance, fairness, it is relatively under-researched.The main goals of the research project are: A) To enhance formal incentive-based theories of organizations and labor relations by explicitly taking into account socioemotional needs;<b) to="" provide="" empirical="" evidence="" for="" the="" effect="" of="" non-material="" employee="" rewards.=""></b)>
