Analysis of the use of Crowdworking in Germany

In this project, we examined to what extend firms in different inustries in Germany rely on crowdworking over time. Crowdworking describes the allocation of usually internal business tasks and projects via online platforms to external workers, who are paid to perform those tasks. The essential aim of this project was to determine to what extend crowdworking is currently used. In order to accomplish that, the quarterly representative company survey of the information economy was supplemented by further industries.
