The purpose of this project is to reveal the essential challenges of the innovation hub Germany and to advance proposals for an improvement of the innovation performance of the German economy. Focal points are the opportunities for innovation, which yield throughout the process of digitisation of economy and society.The project deals with issues which are particularly significant for the innovative ability of the German economy, such as new business models in the digital economy, Industry 4.0, broadband expansion, E-Government, IT professionals and IT competencies.
