Austrian Report on Research and Technology 2015

Austrian Report on Research and Technology 2015

The Austrian Report on Research and Technology summarises state and development of research and technology in Austria and presents government activities to promote scientific research and innovation in Austria. As a part of the 2015 edition of this report, ZEW contributes two chapters: First, the position of Austria in international rankings of innovation performance is analysed by looking at four different rankings: The Innovation Union Scoreboard, the Global Innovation Index, the Innovationsindikator, and the Global Competitiveness Report. A second chapter describes the current state of innovation-oriented public procurement in Austria and its role for innovation activities of Austrian enterprises, using recent data from the Community Innovation Survey for an international comparison.
