Analysis of Obstacles to Innovation in Firms particularly SMEs when Transferring R&D Results into Marketable Products, and Approaches to Tackle these Obstacles

This project analysis the relevance of various obstacles for firms (particularly SMEs) in the course of transferring R&D results into marketable products. Based on a literature review, results from programme evaluations, innovation statistics (mainly from the German CIS), and a series of case studies and expert interviews, conclusions on policy options to dismantling innovation barriers are drawn.
