Elisa Casi-Eberhard, PhD

Corporate Taxation and Public Finance

Elisa Casi-Eberhard, PhD is junior research associate at ZEW. She works in close cooperation with the research unit “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”.

She is an Associate Professor at the NHH Norwegian School of Economics and Academic Director for Learning at EngageEU/NHH. She received her PhD in 2020 from the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Mannheim and under the supervision of Professor Christoph Spengel. She has been Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow (2023-2025) for the project TAXFAIR.  

Her research focuses on international taxation, in particular on the determinants and consequences of information disclosure on individual and corporate tax compliance. She is working on several projects investigating how the automatic collection and exchange of information affects tax evasion and avoidance by individuals and corporations using tax administrative data from Norway.
