Carina Neisser is Junior Research Associate at ZEW. She works in close cooperation with the Research Unit “Social Policy and Redistribution”.

Carina Neisser is a postdoctoral researcher in economics at the University of Cologne and member of the ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy Cluster of Excellence. She is affiliated with the IZA – Institute of Labor Economics. She obtained her PhD from the University of Mannheim in 2021. During her PhD, she worked as a researcher at ZEW in the Research Unit “Social Policy and Redistribution” and was a visiting doctoral student at the University of California, Berkeley.

In her research, she focuses on applied microeconometrics, public economics and political economy.
