The Future of Europe's Strategy to Reduce CO2 Emissions from Road Transport

The Future of Europe's Strategy to Reduce CO2 Emissions from Road Transport

The objective of this project was to explore future options for a regulatory framework in the EU targeting the reduction of CO2 from road transport after the compliance to the 95 grams per kilometre target in 2021. Thereby the focus of the project was a potential inclusion of emissions from light vehicles into the European Union’s emission trading scheme (EUETS) complementing or replacing the current emission standards for new cars.
