The Economics and Econometrics of Innovation

ZEW Summer Workshop

The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is pleased to announce its 10th Summer Workshop for Young Economists. The general topic of this workshop is "The Economics and Econometrics of Innovation". The workshop provides a forum for discussions between young talented researchers and distinguished experts in their field of research. The programme will consist of lectures by experienced researchers and presentations by young scholars. Extensive time will be provided for discussions among participants. The participants will be required to present a paper during the workshop. We invite submissions of theoretical and empirical papers from economics and management.

Papers could address topics as:

  • Indicators & Measurement of Innovation
  • Impacts of Innovation
  • Role of Complementarities For Innovation
  • Evaluation of Public Innovation Policy
  • R&D Spillovers and Technology Transfer
  • Competition and Innovation
  • Sources of Innovation
  • Intellectual Property Rights
