Evaluation of Family and Marriage Related Public Policies With Respect to Their Impact on the Fertility Rate

The project evaluates the impact of family policy and other determinants on the fertility rate. Based on an extensive review of the relevant literature in several disciplines, a behavioural microsimulation model will be developed that takes into account the interdependencies between the labour supply and the fertility decisions of the household and the path-dependent nature of these choices.
