On 3 June 2019, the European-Chinese Business & Innovation Forum will take place at ZEW.

On 3 June 2019, the City of Mannheim, together with the European Commission and ZEW, will host the “European-Chinese Business & Innovation Forum – Trends and Perspectives between Cooperation and Competition”.

China’s economy has witnessed a rapid development in the past few decades. With a world market share of 18 per cent, the People’s Republic has become an influential economic power. At the same time, China boasts a high research and innovation intensity, especially when it comes to digital technologies. The European-Chinese Business & Innovation Forum  brings the worlds of science, business and politics closer together to discuss important issues concerning regional and global development and cooperation. Representatives from the realms of politics, science and business will come together to give an insight into cutting-edge topics and provide an outlook on the future development of European-Chinese economic relations as well as the trends, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
