Theresa Heep

Theresa Heep is Team Lead of “Media Relations and Creation”, overseeing the ZEW's website, social media, and design activities. In this role, she works with her team to further develop the ZEW's digital communication channels and ensure that the institute's research is communicated in a way that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences. She is responsible for the ZEW website and social media presence, coordinates design projects, and manages the development and implementation of key publications and communication formats, including the ZEW Annual Report.

Theresa Heep studied Political Science and English/American Studies at Heidelberg University, the University of Mannheim, and San Diego State University (USA). Her academic focus was on international relations as well as environmental and climate policy. Following her studies, she completed a two-year traineeship in public relations at the ZEW's former “Press and Editorial” Department, beginning in April 2017. Since then, she has been working in the institute's communications department.
