MaCCI Law & Economics Conference

The Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI) – a joint initiative of the ZEW and the University of Mannheim – is hosting the MaCCI Law and Economics Conference on 14 and 15 November 2019 at ZEW in Mannheim. This year’s topics include the law and economics of procedures for the protection of intellectual property. The aim of the conference is to promote exchange between international academics and representatives of public authorities as well as legal and economic advisors.

Two internationally renowned experts, Gary Moss (solicitor and partner at EIP Europe LLP) and Dr. Nathan Wajsman (Chief Economist at the European Union Intellectual Property Office, EUIPO), will give keynotes. Interested non-presenting participants are invited to register online by 31 October 2019. The conference fee is 225 euros; a reduced fee of 65 euros applies to members of academic or public institutions. The fee includes conference materials, coffee breaks, and Friday lunch.
