Jan Kemper is a researcher in ZEW’s Research Unit “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”. His areas of interests include political economy and public finance. Methodologically, he focuses on applied econometrics and quantitative text analysis.
During his bachelor studies at the University of Potsdam, he spent time abroad at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the Republic of Georgia and at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. Afterwards, he graduated with a master’s degree in political economy from the University of Konstanz.
