Anna-Lena Herforth

Anna-Lena Herforth is a researcher in the ZEW research unit “Pensions and Sustainable Financial Markets”. Since September 2024, she has been pursuing her doctoral studies in finance at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) at the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on sustainable finance, with particular emphasis on capital markets. She contributes to the design and analysis of the monthly ZEW Financial Market Survey. 

In 2024, Anna-Lena Herforth successfully completed her master’s degree in economics at the University of Mannheim. Prior to that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and communication studies at the University of Münster in 2021. During her bachelor’s program, she spent a semester abroad at the Dublin City University Business School.
