Over the next three years, more financial experts from Asia will receive advanced training at the ZEW in Mannheim. The courses at the ZEW are part of the training programme “Strengthening Macroeconomic Policies” which is organised by inWEnt, a global corporation for personnel development, advanced training and dialogue, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation. The ZEW service department Knowledge Transfer and Qualification Programmes is responsible for the concept and implementation of the seminars at the ZEW.
The Capacity Building Programmes of InWEnt – Internationale Weiterbildung gGmbH are directed to experts and management in politics, administration, economy and civil society. On behalf of the German Federal Government InWEnt is contributing to the implementation of the development objectives of the United Nations. Furthermore, InWEnt promotes public private partnership projects that unify economic, social and ecological objectives. InWent also prepares international cooperation experts for a stay abroad and offers young people from Germany the chance to gather work experience worldwide via exchange programmes. Inwent’s main headquarters are in Bonn, 14 regional centres are placed throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. The InWEnt offices in New-Delhi, Hanoi, Cairo, Kiev, Lima, Managua, Manila, Moscow, Beijing, Pretoria, São Paulo and Dar es Salaam are predominantly led in partnership with other German organisations for development cooperation.
