Vernissage and Exhibition at ZEW

Conferences

From November 15 to December 23, 1999, ZEW (L 7,1 68161 Mannheim) will host an exhibition with works by Eberhard Fiebig, Nicole König, Wolfgang Thies, and Jens Trimpin. The exhibition is open to visitors Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The exhibition will feature pyrographies (wood burnings of floral appeal) by Eberhard Fiebig; figurative sculptures, particularly portraits, by Nicole König; computer-generated graphics by Wolfgang Thies, and stone sculptures by Jens Trimpin.

The exhibition will be launched with a vernissage on Friday, November 12, at 4.30 p.m. in ZEW’s rooms. Dr. Ingrid Wiesenmayer of the Museum Wiesbaden will provide a presentation on the artists’ creative work. By providing especially local artists with the opportunity to display their works at their premises once again, ZEW not only wants to demonstrate its close connection with the Rhine-Neckar region, but also opens its doors to visitors that usually would not find their way into an economic research institute.
