The Role of Financial Education for Inclusion and Participation

This 6th MIFE Annual Conference on 18 November 2026 is dedicated to the topic “The Role of Financial Education for Inclusion and Participation.” The goal is to discuss current academic findings and practical challenges related to the role of financial education in promoting inclusion and participation. The conference brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from Germany and abroad. Participation is possible both on-site and online. Immediately following the conference, the MIFE Early Career Workshop will take place from 19th to 20th November 2026. The workshop offers early career researchers the opportunity to present their work in the field of financial literacy and discuss it with experienced scholars. A selection of submitted research papers will be considered for the prestigious Early Career Research Prize on Financial Literacy, sponsored by the Deutsche Bundesbank, which awards up to two prizes of €2,500 each.
