Future orientation of the government-subsidized capital formation

Future orientation of the government-subsidized capital formation

The focus of this project is the government-subsidized capital formation of private households in Germany, which is regulated in the 5. Vermögensbildungsgesetz (VermBG). The project consists of three parts: Firstly, the availability of data on household capital formation shall be improved by compiling data from different sources. Secondly, on the basis of the data, the current state of government-subsidized capital formation and its legal framework will be evaluated. Thirdly and most importantly, concrete suggestions on the future orientation and regulation of subsidized capital formation will be provided.
