ZEW employee Lisa Sattel completed her apprenticeship as an office communication assistant and a foreign language correspondent at ZEW with great success. The Leibniz Association acknowledged her commitment by nominating her for the Leibniz Apprenticeship Award 2012.

The Apprenticeship Award is endowed with 1000 euros. It honours the apprentice’s educational performance as well as their good integration and social commitment in the institutes of the Leibniz Association. This year, the prize was awarded in the context of the Leibniz Apprenticeship Day in September. “Even though the award went to an apprentice of a different institution in the end, ZEW is proud of Lisa Sattel and appreciates her nomination. This is a great recognition of her training performance”, says Thomas Kohl, Director of Business and Administration at ZEW. “We would like to congratulate Lisa Sattel for her excellent results. This confirms once again the high quality of an apprenticeship at ZEW.”
