This cooperation agreement provides a solid foundation for strengthening existing ties between ZEW and the University of Strasbourg and for opening up new possibilities.” “What is particularly important to both partners is the exchange of ideas and support of joint projects,” added ZEW Director Thomas Kohl.

The cooperation between the ZEW Research Department “Social Policy and Redistribution” and the Bureau of Theoretical and Applied Economics (BETA) of the University of Strasbourg has been extremely successful for years. The institutions therefore intend to further intensify their cooperation in research and teaching, enabling researchers from the University of Strasbourg and ZEW to explore new research opportunities and to cooperate in the field of scientific teaching. In addition, joint events are planned for the future, such as international workshops, seminars and conferences. Cooperation regarding the training of young scientists will also be strengthened.
