Green Party Member from Mannheim Explores ZEW’s Work

Green Party member of the Bundestag from Mannheim, Melis Sekmen, visited ZEW Mannheim on 25 October. Alongside a guided tour and an overview of the institute by Managing Director Thomas Kohl, the two exchanged ideas, primarily on ZEW’s sustainability activities.

They also discussed some of ZEW’s research topics, such as health, digitalisation, social inequality, and the role of innovations. ZEW warmly welcomed the politician, who is actively involved in the Committees of Economics Affairs and on Finance of the Bundestag on behalf of the Green Party.
