Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation

The transition towards a low-greenhouse-gas economy requires substantial collective effort, both in developing new technologies and processes and in shifting established behavioural patterns onto more sustainable trajectories over the long term. We combine methods from environmental and behavioural economics to develop evidence-based policy solutions. By analysing human decision-making behaviour, our research provides valuable insights into how climate and energy policy measures can achieve their maximum effectiveness.
