Health Care Markets and Health Policy
Sabrina Schubert has been a researcher in the ZEW’s Research Group “Health Care Markets and Health Policy” since February 2021. She studied Socioeconomics and Economics at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and at University College Cork (Ireland). She completed her PhD at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2025. Her doctoral research examines the incentive effects of regulatory frameworks and reimbursement schemes on the behavior of health care providers, with a particular focus on hospitals and providers of digital health services.
Her research interests lie in empirical health economics, with a focus on hospital regulation, payment incentives, and the digital transformation of health care.
