Impacts of Environmental Protection and Resource Conservation on Training, Qualifications and Employment

The TAB study under the heading of "Work and the Environment" aims at: -assessing developments in research, -providing an overview (comparison and evaluation of various approaches, methods, results) of existing studies on the employment effects of environmental policy tools and environmental innovations. ZEW is in charge of two partial TAB projects: -the analysis of environmental protection markets, evaluation of existing market studies on the volume and employment potential of environmental protection markets (supply and demand side) with regard to both end-of-pipe environmental technologies and integrated environmental protection, -environmental policy tools and employment effects, evaluation of existing model calculations and of partly contrary results by means of a comparison of models.
