SEEK Workshop on Incentives and Innovations

Workshop

Ideas and innovations are important drivers of sustainable success in knowledge-intensive economies. Ultimately, innovative company performance crucially depends on the motivation and creativity of employees. For this reason, companies increasingly demand effective practices to improve the motivation and creativity of their employees.

The workshop aims at bringing together researchers working on pecuniary and non-pecuniary incentives or on workplace arrangements to foster employees’ creativity and innovative output. We strongly encourage submissions from researchers in the areas of economics, business administration, sociology, psychology, and other disciplines to present and discuss their work. Empirical and experimental approaches are just as welcome as theoretical models.

The workshop is organised within the framework of the research programme "Strengthening Efficiency and Competitiveness in the European Knowledge Economies" (SEEK). It is jointly organised by Susanne Neckermann (Erasmus University Rotterdam and ZEW) and Christiane Bradler (ZEW).

  • Bruno S. Frey (University Zürich)
