Diesel Engines - Dinosaur Technology, Scandalizer or Sustaining Future?

Research Seminars

First of all the real emissions, but both the practice of the industry as well as the legislation brought about an  intensive and quite polarized discourse in public, economy and science. It even made to move the German federal government in the recent past. This lecture should explain some technical backgrounds, which may not be separated from economic implications at this rather complex topic. Professor Dr.-Ing. Hermann Koch-Groeber has more than two decades of experiences from industry and science and contributed recently onto options for retrofit solutions in a panel, led by the state ministry of transport in Stuttgart. After the presentation an engaged discussion will be very welcome.
