ZEW one of the Leading Research Partners for WWWforEurope

Research

WWWforEurope (Welfare, Wealth and Work for Europe) started in April 2012 as a four-year research project within the 7th Framework Programme funded by the European Commission. The project aims at contributing to a change of the actual economic policy towards a socio-ecological transition. To achieve this end and make an impact, WWWforEurope engages in an on-going dialogue with policy makers, stakeholders, and representatives of civil society. As one of the leading research partners, ZEW is engaged in four of five major research areas of this project which focuses on the European Welfare State, the environmental and biophysical dimension, innovation, industrial and innovation policy, and governance and institutions at the European level.
