From Hanoi to Mannheim: ZEW Cooperates with Vietnamese IDJ Group

Dates and News

ZEW has sealed its cooperation with the Vietnamese IDJ Academy of Innovation and Startups by signing a memorandum of understanding in Mannheim. The memorandum, which was signed by Tran Trong Hieu, chaiman of the IDJ Group (Invest to Develop Jointly) and founder of the IDJ Academy, and ZEW Director Thomas Kohl, involves the introduction of further training programmes for Vietnamese managers at ZEW. It has furthermore laid the foundation for an exclusive partnership between the IDJ Group and the ZEW Service Department “Knowledge Transfer and Qualification Programmes”.

The IDJ Academy of Innovation and Startups is a business school which specialises in the training of entrepreneurs and founders. Collaboration between the two institutions seems only natural since ZEW has been offering excellent international qualification and manager training programmes with great practical relevance for many years. The participants in these programmes obtain practical knowledge about German and European markets by attending seminars and visiting companies. This knowledge is now perfectly complemented by the training that the entrepreneurs receive at the IDJ Academy. ZEW expects to welcome the first participants of these programmes this year.
