Dr. Holger Bonin's Contract Extended

The Supervisory Board of the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), Mannheim, decided to extend Dr. Holger Bonin’s contract as head of the research department "Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy" until September 30, 2016.

Having studied quantitative economics, Dr. Holger Bonin received a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Freiburg in 2000. Afterwards, he worked at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW). Since 2007, Dr. Holger Bonin has been head of the ZEW research department "Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy". His research interests include labour supply, wage and employment rigidities, the economic impact of demographic change and migration, and individual risk preferences.
