The new Seminar Programme of the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), valid from September 2016 until June 2017, is now available. ZEW offers scientifically grounded qualification programmes for specialists and executive staff from all areas. The seminars are tailored to specific target audiences and draw on knowledge obtained through ZEW research activities. The training seminars are held by ZEW experts in an application-oriented way.

Seminars on basic- and advanced-level economics by ZEW researchers form the core of the new 2016/17 ZEW Seminar Programme. The focus lies on statistical and econometric methods, as well as broader economic contexts. The programme additionally features seminars on industry analyses, and on business administration and organisation. Emphasis is also placed on qualification programmes specifically targeted at scientific staff.

"In a constantly changing working environment, effective and efficient professional training is a key factor for success when it comes to improving individual skills and entrepreneurial performance. Both in business and in science, the ongoing acquisition of knowledge therefore has become indispensable for remaining competitive at a national and international level," comment ZEW President Achim Wambach and Thomas Kohl, Director of Business and Administration at ZEW, on the release of the new Seminar Programme.
