Kai Boie

Kai Boie has been a researcher in the ZEW Research Department “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance” since September 2025. His research interests lie in the field of public finance, the interaction between public and private investment and political economy. Methodologically, his focus is on the econometric analysis of large datasets.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim and received his Master’s degree in Economics as part of a double degree programme from the University of Mannheim and Stockholm University. Since August 2023, he has been a doctoral candidate at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) at the University of Mannheim.
