The purpose of the project is to compare the German digital economy with its international competitors and to analyse the potential of digitalisation and the Internet for German firms. The analysis is based on several indicators and on firm-level surveys conducted in order to obtain a representative picture of the use of advanced Internet applications and its implications in German firms.
