The Financial Market Survey Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is carried out on a monthly basis by ZEW with the support of Erste Group Bank AG, Vienna. A similar survey for Germany has been conducted by ZEW since December 1991 and for Switzerland since June 2006.The financial experts are asked specifically about their assessment of the current economic situation and expectations for the region for the next six months concerning the general economic situation, long- and short-term interest rates, exchange rates and stock market indices. The survey deals with the regions CEE and Eurozone as well as following countries - Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, and Romania.The findings from the analysis are shown and commented on in the monthly publication Financial Market Report CEE.
