Ex-Post Evaluation of Benefits and Costs of Environmental Regulation

This project aims on a comprehensive ex-post evaluation of selected environmental regulations. It addresses costs and benefits on the level of individual firms as well as in terms of environmental effects. To this end, the team uses administrative firm level data from the German industry statistics. A focus of these works will be impacts on the emissions of local pollutants from firm activity.
