Saumik Paul, PhD, Visiting Researcher at ZEW

Saumik Paul, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Nottingham School of Economics, Malaysia Campus (UNMC), is visiting researcher at ZEW's Research Department "Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy" from July 8 to September 14, 2013. He received his PhD in Economics from Claremont University, US. Prior to joining UNMC, he taught at Osaka University, Japan, and worked at the World Bank. His research interests are development economics, but he also focuses on labour, education, and migration. During his stay, Saumik Paul works with ZEW researchers on a concept to cooperate in the research field of migration on the German labour market.
