Worldwide carbon dioxide emissions are caused to a large extent by the combustion of fossil fuels. The main share of this combustion stems from utilisation of fuels in the energy and transport sectors. Therefore, our investigation focuses on environmental aspects of energy and transport policies and their sectoral effects:
