Workshop on Wealth Inequality, Intergenerational Mobility, and Equality of Opportunity

The Research Institute Economics of Inequality at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research, are delighted to announce a workshop on wealth inequality, intergenerational mobility, and equality of opportunity.

We invite the submission of papers addressing the measurement, causes, and consequences of wealth inequality, intergenerational mobility, and equality of opportunity. We welcome both theoretical and applied research submissions, particularly those utilizing new and innovative data sources.

This two-day workshop aims to be an interdisciplinary event. We particularly encourage contributions from economists, sociologists, and closely related disciplines. Attendees can expect to engage with approximately 40 participants working on closely related topics and questions.
